More people are going independent, working for themselves, looking for flexibility in their work and life, looking for agency.
People Agency is a curated group of independent operators who have all been part of that shift. We work independently and together, alongside teams, staying close to the work we love while leveraging our shared systems and our collective power to move great work forward.

Separately and together, we've built organizations to elect US Presidents, transformed citywide infrasctructure to make public transit more accessible, and mobilized around connection and mental health when it mattered most. We’re a small, curated group of independent operators working separately and sometimes together.
Each of us runs our own practice. We come together around the work when it makes sense, sharing agency in how it’s shaped and carried through. The structure is simple and transparent, designed to support the work itself and the people doing it.
We value how we work as much as what we do. That shows up in how we collaborate, how we communicate, and how we stay close to the work. There’s a shared expectation of thoughtfulness, follow-through, and respect for the people involved.
